Adjustable Rate Mortgage (ARM)
You elect to have a lower beginning rate, then the rate adjusts at specified intervals over the course of the loan. There are usually limits to the percentage of change for any given period.
Fixed Rate Mortgage
You pay the same rate over the entire life of the loan.

Construction Loans
Heritage Family Credit Union is the place to go if you are planning on building. Offering a great rate with flexible construction periods, the credit union gives you the resources and flexibility you need.
Mortgage loans are subject to a variety of fees including but not limited to appraisal, credit report, recording and legal fees. Members are given a loan estimate of closing costs within 3 days of submitting a mortgage application.
Housing Counselors
Did you know that there are housing counselors available across the country to assist you and consult with about buying a home, renting, defaults, foreclosures, and credit issues? The counseling agencies available through this search are approved by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and they can offer individual guidance about whether a certain set of mortgage loan terms is a good fit based on your goals and situation, most often at little or no cost to you.
