HFCU Receives 2025 Worksite Wellness Award
Heritage Family Credit Union is honored to have received the 2025 Vermont Governor's Excellence in Worksite Wellness Award. This award creates a standard of excellence for worksite wellness and initiatives while also recognizing the efforts of Vermont employers to enhance productivity, bolster a healthy environment, and improve employee wellbeing.
Regular Schedule
Most positions work a routine 8-hour daytime shift from Monday through Friday with paid Federal Holidays. Some positions will require a periodic Saturday morning shift that would result in a shorter day during the week.
Incentive and Bonus Programs
All HFCU employees are eligible for additional compensation beyond their hourly or salary rate through participation in our incentive and bonus programs. Depending on the position, this may include incentive payouts for reaching sales goals or an annual bonus for meeting operational goals.
Employer Paid Benefits
HFCU has a comprehensive insurance plan including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability. Insurance benefits are available to employees who regularly work 24+ hours a week! Premiums for single plans are company paid, and rates for 2-person and family plans are competitive. Eligible employees also have the ability to contribute to a Health Savings Account and receive an employer contribution.
Voluntary Benefits
In addition to our medical plans, HFCU also offers voluntary benefits like accident, cancer, and pet insurances. All employees can participate in these plans.
401k
Eligible employees can contribute to a 401k retirement plan and take advantage of employer matching. Whether an employee chooses to contribute or not, we make a discretionary contribution to the plan.
Paid Time Off
We’re happy to offer full time employees holiday pay, vacation time, sick pay, and disability days! One of our core values is community, and we encourage employees to volunteer in their communities by offering all employees volunteerism pay.
Wellness Initiatives
HFCU offers a variety of initiatives designed to promote healthy physical and mental wellbeing through education and engagement.
HFCU is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
