HFCU VP Commercial Lending Credit Manager Dylan Watts has been selected as a 2025 Rising Star by VermontBiz, an annual honor recognizing 40 outstanding young leaders under the age of 40.

Rising Star winners were selected by a panel of judges from a pool of more than 120 nominees based on their exemplary commitment to business growth, professional excellence, and community involvement. Watts and his fellow honorees will be celebrated at a special event held on November 6 and featured in the November issue of VermontBiz.

“Dylan’s dedication to Heritage Family, our members, and the broader community is nothing short of inspiring,” said HFCU Chief Lending Officer Sarah Furman. “I am not only proud to see him receive this much-deserved honor but also equally excited to see what his future holds as he continues to be a force for good in our industry and community.”

A Vermont native and graduate of Castleton University, Watts has been a member of the Heritage Family staff for the last seven years. An avid golfer, he is on the Finance Committee of the Rutland Country Club and serves on the Board of Cornerstone Housing Partners as the Chair of the Loan Committee.
