Heritage Family Credit Union (HFCU) is pleased to announce that four $2,000 scholarships will be awarded in 2026 to students who plan to continue their education at an accredited college, university, or trade school.

Scholarships will be awarded to HFCU members who are enrolled as a senior at a high school in HFCU’s field of membership with demonstrated leadership qualities that best reflect HFCU's philosophy of "People Helping People."

To be considered for a scholarship, applicants must:

  • Complete an application.
  • Be enrolled as a senior at a high school in HFCU’s field of membership.
  • Be a member of Heritage Family Credit Union.
  • Have a track record of exemplary leadership within their school and/or community.
  • Plan to continue their education at an accredited college, university, or trade school (required minimum of six-credits or equivalent in the fall 2026 semester).
  • Submit a resume including any community service and/or volunteer activities completed during high school.
  • Write an essay how their past actions and/or future plans exemplify HFCU's philosophy of “People Helping People.” 


Applications and all supporting materials must be received no later than 5:00 PM EST on Friday, April 3, 2026. Applications that are incomplete, late, or missing supporting materials will not be accepted.
