We know that everyone is looking for something different in their employment searches - some of the elements that we think help us be the best include:


Regular Schedule

Most positions work a routine 8 hour daytime shift Monday – Friday schedule with paid Federal Holidays. Some positions require a periodic shift on Saturday morning, but typically will have a short day sometime that week.


Incentive and Bonus Programs

All HFCU employees are eligible for additional compensation beyond their hourly or salary rate through participation in our incentive and bonus programs. Some positions can receive regular incentive payouts for reaching sales goals, and others can receive an annual bonus when operational goals are met.


Employer Paid Benefits

HFCU has a comprehensive insurance plan including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurances. Insurance benefits are available to employees who regularly work 24+ hours a week! Premiums for single plans are company paid, and rates for 2-person and family plans are competitive. Eligible employees also have the ability to contribute to a Health Savings Account and receive an employer contribution.


Voluntary Benefits

In addition to our medical plans, HFCU also offers voluntary benefits like Accident, Cancer, and Pet Insurances. All employees can participate in these plans.


401k with Company Match and Discretionary Contribution

In line with the Credit Union philosophy of promoting thrift and helping employees prepare for retirement, eligible employees can contribute to a 401k retirement plan and take advantage of our 401k matching program. Whether an employee chooses to contribute or not, we make a discretionary contribution to the plan.


Paid time off, including Volunteerism pay

We’re happy to offer full time employees holiday pay, vacation time, sick pay, disability days, and volunteerism pay! One of our core values is community, and we encourage employees to volunteer in their communities by offering volunteerism pay.

Heritage Family offers a variety of activities, prizes, and initiatives that promote wellbeing, including health and wellness initiatives, and fun “desk drops” that help educate employees on health topics, and encourage them to take action.
