Heritage Family Credit Union’s (HFCU) scholarship program supports deserving high school seniors who are going to pursue further education in an accredited undergraduate program at a college, trade school or university in 2020. There are a total of four (4) scholarships of $1,000 each open to seniors attending a high school in HFCU’s field of membership.


In order to be eligible, applicants must:
• Be currently enrolled as a senior at a high school in HFCU’s field of membership
• Be pursing further education as a full-time student in an accredited undergraduate program at a college, trade school or university (minimum 6-credit semester or the equivalent) in the Fall of 2020
• Be an exemplary member of the student body and have demonstrated leadership qualities within their school and community

Supporting Documents

To be considered for a scholarship, please fill out the application form completely, follow all directions, and include all of the requested documents. Please include:
• Your High School Transcript
• Your two-page resume. Be sure to show any community service and/hour volunteering you have done throughout high school. Resumes must not be more than two pages.
• A 500-word essay on the topic: "Credit unions have a philosophy of 'people helping people.' What are your higher education goals and how will your goals affect positive change in peoples’ lives?"


Scholarship applications and all supporting documents must be received no later than 5:00 PM EST on Friday, March 26, 2020. Applications that are incomplete, do not follow directions or are late will not be evaluated.
