With the Heritage Family Federal Credit Union ATM/Debit Card you can enjoy the convenience of using a Visa credit card, but, like writing checks, the money is automatically withdrawn from your Sharedraft Account. Some great advantages of using our debit card over using a check are you do not have to show identification, spend a lot of time filling out checks and it makes record keeping easy by providing you with a receipt for your transaction at the time of your purchases. Also, there is no interest to pay when using the ATM/Debit Card. You do not need to have an overdraft line of credit to have an ATM/Debit Card. The amount of the transaction is automatically deducted from your share draft account.

If the strip is scratched or bent, the machine will not be able to read the card. Certain devices will demagnetize cards and erase all the information on the strip.
