In your time of Crisis the Heritage Family Credit Union would like to make thing as easy as possible by providing clear and simple information. The five steps listed below are you need to do when you are a victim of Identity theft.
1.Put a Fraud Alert On Your Credit Report Once You Contact One Bureau The Remaining Two Will Be Contacted. The Numbers Are Listed Below.

2. Keep a Log of All Conversations related to you Identity Fraud Case such as:
- Dates
- Names of people you spoke with
- Telephone numbers of the agencies you called
- The Time you spent on the each conversation
- Expenses incurred
3. Close Cards That May Have Been Tampered With or Have Fraudulent Changes.
4. File a Police Report with Your Local Police and Get a Copy of The Report or The Report number so you can give it to your creditors and others that may require proof of the crime.
5. Your Final Step is to Report the Crime to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). You may file your complaint 3 different ways.
