With a Credit Builder Loan, the amount you borrow will be placed in an interest bearing savings account that cannot be withdrawn until all monthly payments have been made. Information regarding your good payment history is reported to a major credit bureau each month to help improve and build your credit rating. Upon successful repayment of the loan, the money is fully available to you to use however you want! Loan amounts up to $250, or higher with a parent or guardian’s signature, are lent for a specific short-time period, around one year or less. This way you are not locked into a long term commitment, but are still able to reap the benefits of regular monthly loan payments.
